2015 Children’s Gift Appeal

The Duquesa Charitable Society of St. George has launched its 2015 Children’s Gift Appeal to provide gifts for local underprivileged children this festive season.

The St George charity is looking for donations of cash and/or small gifts (preferably new), which we will then use to put together gift bags for underprivileged children aged from babies to 16 years of age as identified by the local Social Services Departments in Manilva and Casares, and the Emaus Social Kitchen in Estepona. Last year the charity provided gift bags for around 450 children.

Gifts can be dropped off at Fathoms Bar, The St George Charity Shop in Calle Duquesa de Arcos (opposite O’Callaghans), and The Bookshop in Sabinillas. In Gibraltar they can be left at The Quest Group, Grand Ocean Plaza, Gibraltar.

Or you can pay 10 euros for an individual ‘gift bag’ which will be presented to an underprivileged child on Three Kings in January, and know that your generosity has brought a smile to a child’s face this festive season.

Cash donations can be made at any of the drop off points listed above, and should be placed in a sealed envelope and marked with your name and email address so that we can send you a confirmation of receipt, or they can be paid directly into the charity’s bank account in La Caixa Bank
