2,217 euros donated to the Hogar Betania shelter in La Linea

The Duquesa Charitable Society of St George is pleased to announce the presentation to Hogar Betania in La Linea on December 22 of a cheque for 2,217€ for the installation of bathroom and toilet facilities at the Hogar Betania shelter and social kitchen in La Linea.

The new facilities will allow the charity to increase the number of rooms it can offer to the homeless, refugees, and victims of abuse of all nationalities.

This is just the beginning of what the St George Charity hopes will be an ongoing collaboration, with plans already in hand for the funding of at least one family room at the shelter.
